Intravenous ozone therapy treatment consists of the use of medical grade oxygen and ozone gases safely injected into the vein. Ozone gas is a trivalent oxygen molecule lacking an electron. The extra “O” in the ozone molecule acts like a glue to "steal" an electron from anything in the body that cannot defend itself, including viruses, bacteria, fungus, yeast and molds. Healthy cells, which contain antioxidants, are not impacted, but all pathogens are destroyed.
Ozonotherapy is the basis of a type of therapy that’s been used to help fight “incurable” diseases throughout the world. Administered intravenously (I.V.), this method was first used by doctors in France in 1951. Widely used in Europe, ozonotherapy was introduced into the United States in the early 1980’s.
With anti-aging effects, ozonotherapy has been found useful in various diseases because it:
  • Activates and boosts the immune system in infectious diseases. For those with auto-immune disorders, ozone will modulate the immune system to help to stop it from attacking healthy human cells.
  • Improves the cellular utilization of oxygen that reduces ischemia in cardiovascular diseases, and in many of the infirmities of aging.
  • Increases energy production in your cells.
  • Causes the release of growth factors that stimulate damaged joints and degenerative discs to regenerate.
  • Can dramatically reduce or even eliminate many cases of chronic pain through its action on pain receptors.
  • Chelates metals from the body, such as lead, mercury, aluminum, arsenic, and so forth, by extracting them from blood, cells and nerve tissue.
  • Makes red blood cells flow with less viscosity and become more flexible to flow through narrowed or clogged arteries.
  • Reduces the level of acidity of your body.
  • Increases the activity of your "anti-oxidant enzyme systems".
  • Kills bacteria, viruses (and virtually all other disease causing organisms) on contact.
  • Has demonstrated its healing effects on interstitial cystitis, chronic hepatitis, herpes infections, dental infections, diabetes, and macular degeneration--as documented through published papers.

Prolozone & Hemozone

What is PROLOZONE therapy?

Prolozone is a unique form of therapy that incorporates classical Prolotherapy injections in conjunction with Medical Grade Ozone injections.

After having performed numerous standard prolotherapy injections for the past 10 years, we have found that the addition of ozone to the injections have greatly augmented the effect of the therapy.  The ozone appears to have both an immune modulatory effect as well as a general healing regenerative effect.  For example, when injected into the knee joint, the patient has far less subsequent soreness and better and deeper healing.

Also because it has anti-bacterial effects, it can reduce pain associated with local soft tissue, joint disorders and dental problems.

What is HEMOZONE Therapy?

HEMOZONE therapy is classical PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections, along with the addition of medical grade Ozone injections.
What is PROLOZONE therapy?
  • Scars (scars block the flow of acupuncture meridians)
  • Spinal Arthritis
  • Spinal Stenosis
  • Failed surgical back syndrome
  • Spianl disc buldging or herniation
  • Chronic neck or back pain
  • Chronic rib pain
  • chest wall pain
  • Serreo-clavicular joint arthritis or pain
  • TMJ
  • Chronic Jaw pain or Jaw Popping
  • Shoulder Arthritis
  • Rotator cuff tears
  • AC joint separation or arthritis
  • Chronic Shoulder Pain/tendinopathy
  • Hip Arthritis
  • Hip Labrum Teear
  • Hip Bursitis
  • Failed surgical hip pain
  • Knee Arthritis
  • Knee "bone on bone"
  • Knee meniscus tears
  • Muscle or Fascial Tears (hamstring, groin, arm, back, calf, etc.)
  • Patella-Femoral Syndrome
  • Baker's Cyst
  • Acl Tear
  • Post surgical shoulder failures
  • Shoulder, Knee, Hip post surgical replacement pain
  • Post Herpetic Neuralgia

  • Heel spurs
  • Morton's Neuroma
  • Partial tears of any tendon/ligament in the body
Can Prolozone be used for Dental Problems?

Yes, Dental infections and local dental trauma often respond to Prolozone.

Each tooth is connected to a nerve and acupuncture meridian.  Dental stress from amalgams, resins, non-compatible materials, cavities, and abscesses can cause local dental problems and remote diseases.

Unexplained dental pain, facial pain despite normal dental exams.
  • Tooth pain caused by an underlying infection can be treated with a short series of local ozone injections into the involved tooth area.
  • Old dental scars from old root canal surgeries, wisdom tooth extractions, loose teeth, and other tooth extractions can be effectively treated.
How often and how many treatments do I need?

That varies from patient to patient and the body part being treated, age, and your general health.  Usually, a series of 4-12 treatments 2-4 weeks apart is a common treatment plan.

Oxidative Therapy

Oxidative therapy provides the body with extra oxygen. Treatment methods include  mixing blood with ozone gas (O3) and the intravenous infusion of liquid hydrogen peroxide(H2O2). The addition of extra oxygen has many benefits for both prevention and treatment of disease.
Oxidative therapies stimulate the body’s oxidative capacities, which are required for energy metabolism, detoxification and immune function.
Multiple benefits include:
  • Stimulates the production of white blood cell (immune cells).
  • Directly and indirectly destroys viruses, bacteria, fungi and cancer cells
  • Increases oxygen delivery from the blood to the tissues
  • Increases the oxygen content of the blood and tissues
  • Anti-angiogenic: inhibits the growth of new blood vessels that feed tumors
  • Oxidizes and degrades petrochemicals and other toxic substances
  • Increases red blood cell membrane flexibility so oxygen can pass through very narrowed and diseased vessels
  • Stimulates the production of interferon, tumor necrosis factor and other cytokines, which are needed to fight infections and cancers
  • Increases the efficiency of the anti-oxidant enzyme systems, which scavenge excess free radicals in the body.
  • Stimulates the citric acid cycle, which is how the body produces energy from fuels in the presence of oxygen (aerobic metabolism) also called ‘oxidative metabolism’ or ‘cellular respiration’.

Ozone Bladder Insufflation

What is Ozone Bladder Insufflation?

Bladder Ozone is the application of Medical Ozone into the urethra and bladder.

What are the Indications for Bladder Ozone?

Interstitial Cystitis
Chronic Bladder Infections
Chronic Prostatitis
Post Surgical or Post Chemo Bladder Problems
Chronic Urethral Infections
Fungal (yeast) infections affecting the urethra and bladder
Urge Incontinence

How is Bladder Ozone performed?

After wiping the opening of the urethra with an antiseptic, a small bladder catheter is inserted into the bladder through the urethra. Then a small amount of procaine and a homeopathic anti-inflammatory is administered.  After 5 to 10 minutes, about 60cc’s of medical grade ozone (two ounces) is administered through the tube.  The patient refrains from voiding for the next ½ hour.

Is Bladder Ozone painful?

Patients usually report that the procedure is painless.

Can I receive other oxidative therapies on the same day?

What is the frequency of the treatment?  How many will I need?

The frequency of the treatment varies from daily to several times per week.  The number depends on the severity of the problem, age, and other health problems.
